In Las Vegas!

Karel Murray, DREI,

Conference Chairperson

Las Vegas:  a town of excitement, taking chances, and calculating the odds.  This year’s REEA Conference theme is “Everyone Wins with REEA,” so prepare to be instilled with that effervescent feeling and get ready to engage in energetic networking!

The mentoring attitude of REEA members is one of the primary reasons why many of you return year after year to this information-packed convention.  The Conference Committee has worked diligently to provide an education focused event that will not only provide you with vital tools to incorporate into your business, but will also enhance relationship building opportunities.

All of the activities and events have come to life as a direct result of many hard-working dedicated committee members in developing and fine tuning this event for you.

Read all about our program activities in the information that follows.   See you in June!

General Sessions for the 2006 REEA conference will be high energy, education-focused and diverse in topic subject matter.  Two times each day, you will have an opportunity to experience REEA at its best.  Our primary objective is to give you issues, trends, and insight that real estate educators can truly appreciate as well as opportunities to gather together,  revitalize connections and expand our collective knowledge.  Oh, what a feeling!

We are pleased to have Stefan J. M. Swanepoel as the Keynoter for the Opening General Session.  Stefan is widely recognized  as the leading visionary on trends and change in the real estate industry.

Featured speakers for the luncheons and closing general session are Amy Tolbert, Judy Shaw, and Judy Carter.  Full descriptions on their topics can be found in the registration brochure.

Exhibitors are already lining up to offer their wares and educate you about products and services you use everyday.  It is the support of these generous and participating vendors that makes this conference a success year after year.   Here are the exhibitors who are known as of February 21, 2006:

Meet The Pros is your opportunity to speak up close and personal with subject matter experts on the topics that interest you today.  This Sunday afternoon session is well underway in terms of designing the logistics and identifying areas of interest for membership.  So if you have a desire to gain some practical information that you can apply right away on technology, travel, real estate legal trends, publishing, internet and much more, be prepared to reserve your seat when you arrive at the conference on Saturday or Sunday.  You will meet with three different subject matter experts for 30 minutes each.   It may sound a bit like speed dating, but having fun and receiving reliable information just can’t be beat!

Programs for the 2006 REEA conference will enhance your teaching skills as well as provide you with tools to effectively manage and grow your business.  Affiliates will have pre-conference offerings and there will also be opportunities to update education certification at the REEA IDW.  Each session was designed with you in mind, so get ready to participate and learn.

Speaker Showcase is back by demand.  Education providers, course sponsors, education directors--this is your opportunity to discover talented REEA speakers and line up new programs for your members and students.
