It’s important to present like a professional. Attendees’ quick judgments are based on how the instructors are perceived - beginning with their first contact as well as through the presentation of the material content. If your trainers are not good speakers, or they design lackluster programs, then they are giving the participants a false perception of their expertise. During this course, attendees will be exposed to a mixture of training and development applications as well as professional speaking techniques which will help ensure programs are as dynamic and effective as possible. After all... it’s about the attendees and how well they are able to learn what is taught. And that is ultimately how the company and its trainer’s performance are judged.

Karel Murray: CPS, DREI

Motivational Humorist, Communication/Leadership Strategist and Author Karel Murray's extensive business experience in community leadership and her professional speaking background, combine for an incredible attendee experience. Karel opens and closes conferences nationally and internationally with a memorable energy and impactful insight about personal accountability and success and have you laughing all the way. She holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and Distinguished Real Estate Professional (DREI) designations. Karel serves as the 2013-2014 REEA President.

Dr. Beverly "Bev" McCormick, DREI

Bev is a Professor of Real Estate at Morehead State University (MSU) where she has been for 28 years.  She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  At MSU, Bev was the 2010-2011 Chair of the Faculty Senate and a member of the President's Leadership Council. She was awarded the Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation from the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) in 1992.  In REEA, Bev served on the Board for 12 years as president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, director, and regional vice president and has chaired several committees.  Bev chaired the 2012 REEA Conference and received two awards for her efforts:  Committee of the Year and Member of the Year. In Kentucky, Bev just finished 2 years as the President and is currently serving as Secretary of the Kentucky Real Estate Educators Association.  Bev is actively involved in working with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission on educational initiatives including chairing the Core Course Redesign Committee.  Also, Bev is the KREC state instructor trainer for the Core Course and the Brokerage Management Course.  Bev designs and conducts real estate and real estate education workshops and presentations in Kentucky and across the nation.  Bev currently serves as the 2013-2014 REEA President-Elect.

 CANCELLATIONS:

All requests for refunds must be in writing and emailed to REEA • Attn: Kris Inman, Executive Director  • Kris@REEA.org or can be mailed to REEA • 7739 E. Broadway, #337, Tucson, AZ 85710

  • Cancellations received by midnight March 31, 2014 will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation received after March 31, 2014 and before April 14,2014 will receive a refund of 50% of registration fee.  This will help to pay for materials already printed.
  • There is no refund for cancellations received after April 14,2014.

Refunds for cancellations due to an illness, injury, death or emergency will be considered on a case by case basis by the REEA Executive Director.  Contact Kris Inman, Executive Director at Kris@REEA.org or 520-609-2380.
